A New Car!

Andrew is now mobile - thanks to his "car"! He loves playing in the walker and goes just about anywhere he pleases. Here are some pictures that Daddy took of the little man on the go!!!

Blessings for Buddy!

Andrew was dedicated to the Lord on November 4th, 2007. All of his grandparents were there to see it! He did a great job being good during the service. He grabbed Pastor Shannon's nose during the prayer. Silly goose!!!

Miss Stephanie brought Andrew back some Mickey ears from Disney - and they were so cute when we put them on! Thank you!

The Duck and The Duck Hunter

Andrew was a duck for Halloween and Daddy dressed up as a Duck Hunter! That was quite funny!!! Andrew was loving it at first, but really just wanted a bottle by the time I put him in my lap and tried to get some pictures taken.

My Grandma and PawPaw!

My Grandma and Paw Paw came to see me for the weekend here in Kentucky! We had a great time! Grandma even gave me my first haircut!!! You can see how happy I was that they were here to see me! I loved sitting on Paw Paw's lap! Grandma sure was excited in this picture, too!

Andrew's First Playdate!

Andrew and his buddy, Ethan, had their very first playdate today at our house! It was so fun to watch the boys see each other and laugh and play together. They were a real riot! Tori, Ethan's Mom, is so great and I really loved getting to talk to another adult for a while! Here are some pictures from the "Oh my gosh! Another baby!" moment that the boys had!

Prunes, anyone?

I started a new baby food this morning - PRUNES! They were pretty good! I really love to smear them all over my face and my high chair! Daddy fed me these prunes and some cereal and I couldn't have been more excited! I love to eat new foods!

I love it when Daddy and I dress alike! We do that a lot for church. Here we are on October 15th, both in our button down shirts, sweater vests, and khaki pants! That is great!!!! I LOVE MY DADDY!

C-A-T-S Cats Cats Cats!!!!!

It was pretty exciting on the 14th of October when UK defeated LSU. The only sad part was that Daddy roots for LSU and he was really bumbed. Here I am saying "#1 Cats!!!"!



If you look really closely here, you can see my one tooth on the bottom gum in my mouth!









Here I am, playing on the floor. I have figured out the camera and that I should smile for it! It's one of my favorite things! I am absolutely a smiling flirt!!!!

Look at me, pushing up on my hands! I am almost crawling now!!!

Baby, It's Cold Outside!!

It has gotten cold in Kentucky all of a sudden! We went from a high on Monday of 91 to a high today (Friday) of 61! That is incredible! This morning, when Mommy and I went walking, she put me into this snowsuit over my pajamas. It has little ears on it that make me look like a little doggie!

I had a good time in the jogging stroller and I am doing better in the car, too! Isn't that great???!!???

Check out this picture - look at my hands. They look HUGE!!! (That is because they are!) I have the hands of a 2 year old, no doubt.

In the last picture, you can see where my footed pajamas are sticking out of the bottom! That worked great!

Just when you think you can't go on....

Your baby sleeps through the night! It was awesome. After 2 days on the allergy meds, Andrew slept through the night from 10pm-8:15am. THANK YOU, JESUS!!!

This is My Favorite Passie!

As you can see by these pictures, Andrew's favorite pacifier has become his 2 fingers - the pointer and the middle ones - stuck into the roof of his mouth! He actually won't take the paci anymore at all. That is so strange! He goes to sleep on his side now and sticks those fingers up there. They stay "raisin- looking" almost all the time! At least they are attached so that he can get to them whenever he wants to, I guess!

On another note, he did pretty well in the car yesterday. Way to go, little guy!!!

It's finally going to get cold around here - yesterday it was 91 - a new record! It's OCTOBER!!! Anyway, the highs are going to drop by Friday to around 60 or so. Guess we'll bundle up for the tailgating with Daddy for his school homecoming on Friday night! Go BULLDOGS!

My LEAST favorite place in this world!

Andrew HATES the carseat. What is that about??? Why is it that everytime we go on a trip, be it across town or just to the store, that we have to scream and cry for at least 90% of the trip?

There have been a few (SELECT FEW!) times that we are not crying in the car. Rarely, he will fall asleep. I just don't get it. Perhaps the new carseat (bigger) will help that. We'll get it this weekend.

We still love you, pal. Just wish you didn't hate the car.

6 Months Old!!!!!!

Happy SIX MONTHS OLD to Andrew!!! It's hard to believe my little man has been here for half of a year!!! He is such a joy to us and we love him so much!!! Here are some happy pictures we took this afternoon with our little guy!!! Love you, Pookie!!!

Hippensteal's Mountain View Inn - Part 2

This is Andrew, who does NOT like long car trips. He plays a lot with Mr. Butterfly and enjoys singing. There were a few good times, but generally he was just glad to get out of the van!!!

We stopped, as I said before, at the Bass Pro Shop to look around, and Daddy took a picture with Andrew here by the Moose. Since Dr. Ricketts calls Andrew "Moose" b/c he is so large, we thought this was especially funny!!

Hippensteal's Mountain View Inn

This was Andrew's first trip to Hippensteals! It was so fun! Check out www.hippensteal.com if you are not familiar with the Inn. It makes life feel a lot lighter to be there! A little piece of Heaven for sure.

This picture with the pumpkins was taken when we stopped for a little break on the way down there. Andrew was NOT happy to be stuck in the carseat. This was at the Bass Pro Shop that is right off the interstate. We went inside and looked at the fish and the giant waterfall! He LOVED that!

Lots of New Adventures!!!!

I am learning to try to feed myself! Everytime the spoon comes near me, I grab it and try to stick it in my mouth all by myself! I usually get food in my nose and all around my face, but at least I did it!!!

The other day when Daddy was eating chicken and broccoli, I picked up a piece of chicken and put it in my mouth! Daddy took it back and said I could eat it when I get some more teeth! Speaking of teeth.....

I have a TOOTH!!! All this chewing that I've been doing on my exersaucer has helped me pop out the one on the bottom in the front! It's all the way through the gum now and I feel better already!

Here I am with Ms. Laura! She is my friend! She brought me this cute little pumpkin cap that I am wearing! Isn't it great???? She is so much fun! I love to play with her!










After all that playing and growing and cutting of teeth, I fell asleep with Daddy today on his and Mommy's bed! Mommy went to fix dinner and came back and we were all snuggled up together. That was so nice!

Today, when Daddy came home from work, Mommy and I were sitting on the front porch and we walked down the driveway to see Daddy and I reached out both my arms for him and gave him a big smile! That was cool! Daddy was SO HAPPY to be home when I did that! I am getting so big!!!

Trying to walk, trying to get clean!

Here I am with my buddy, Shawn! I love to play with him because he makes me laugh! He was helping me try to walk last night and we had a big time! Thanks for playing with me!!!










Here I am, giggling in the bathtub! I love to splash, so Mommy and Daddy put me in the baby bath in the bathtub. Can you see my rubber duckie on the bathtub bottom? He is my friend!

Daddy covered up my swimsuit area with a washcloth - I will be glad he did that in about 20 years when Mommy pulls these out one night when my girlfriend comes over!!!!!
