Our Getaway to the Smokies!

We went to the mountains with our dear friends, the Smiths, over MLK weekend last week! It was GREAT to get away and we had so much fun with everyone! Here are some snapshots- the first round! - including Bruce and Nancy's matching shirts and Andrew's one sock on and one sock off kicking back on the table. It was great!

Christmas Night and Visit to Louisville

Christmas was great! These first few pictures of our friends the Whisnants (including Zippy!) and of Mickey wrestling with Payden really show how much fun our friends-family is! The Smiths and the Whisnants joined us for a night of doing nothing and it was great!!!

Later on that week, we went to Louisville where I got to visit with one of my dearest and oldest friends, Stephanie. It never fails that wherever we are, we can grab a quick bite and chat and I always love her just like we were still spending the night in front of her woodburning stove! I hope that we are always friends! I love you, Stephanie!

Christmas Brunch at Claire and Zack's House!

We had a ball going over to our neighbors house on Christmas for brunch! Claire's parents are from England and had some family in from over the big pond, too. We all pulled these pop-gifts and you got a paper crown inside when you opened it! That was really fun! Even Andrew got in on the action! Thanks for a great morning!!!

Christmas 2007

Andrew, as you can see from the pictures (especially the last one!) was very uninterested in the Christmas excitement! We had fun, though, and enjoyed being home. We went to our neighbors house for brunch with their extended family in from England. Pictures to follow on that - but let's say it was a blast and we all got to wear crowns! Merry Christmas!
